Prescriptions

If you think you may need prescription medicine please make an appointment with your doctor. If you have been given a prescription for a straightforward condition such as hay fever we may be able to issue a prescription after a telephone consultation. Please ask the receptionist for more details.  Your local pharmacist should be able to give you advice for non-prescription medication.

You can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:

Order Online

If you are already registered click here. You will be able to view a copy of the current repeat medication that has been authorised for you by your doctor.

If you would like to register for Patient Online Services to enable you to order your medication online, please contact the Surgery team who can assist you with the registration process.

In person or by post

You can request your repeat medication by indicating the items you require on the tear off slip of your prescription and posting it to us or handing it in at reception.

Alternatively if you enclose a stamped self addressed envelope we will post your prescription to you.

For all repeat prescriptions please allow 48 hours notice (this excludes weekends and bank holidays)
